Reflections of a historic London venue
The India Club, tucked away inside a hotel on the Strand in London, has been serving up curries, dahls and biryanis since the early 1950s. It's been providing what was, initially at least, a rare taste of home for South Asian immigrants in the years after independence. But it's soon closing it doors for the last time to make way for a major development.
