Azerbaijan's total control of Nagorno Karabakh is a 'dangerous phenomenon'

The military victory of Azerbaijan in Nagorno Karabakh has led to a sizeable refugee crisis, with thousands crossing into Armenia. A deep-seated bitterness between Azerbaijanis and Armenians has most likely been strengthened by what's happened in recent weeks.

Newshour's Paul Henley speaks to two women, an Armenian and and Azeri, who met in person for the first time this year. Irina Safaryan left Nagorno Karabakh a year ago to study in Brussels. Sevinj Samadzade is a feminist campaigner from Azerbaijan, who admits her views and sympathies are far from typical of her fellow Azeris. She's currently studying in York, in the north of England. How did she and Irina first meet?
