Knowsley's got a brand new train station.

Headbolt Lane in Kirkby opened on Thursday morning, and, what's more, it's served by the UK's first battery-powered passenger trains.

It's the first new station in Knowsley since Whiston opened in 1990, with plans for a station at Headbolt Lane being talked about since the 1970s!
