A couple from Selsey are celebrating their 75th wedding anniversary apart.

World War Two veteran Basil Lambert married his Army nurse sweetheart, Madge in 1948, after meeting during the war in Burma.

They are both 100, and their love match even inspired a special Remembrance Sunday dance on Strictly Come Dancing in 2016.

But Madge is in hospital leaving Basil to speak to Allison Ferns and tell her how much he misses his wife of 75 years.
