Wandsworth: Inside extraordinary home of Kenyan poet
Over several decades the Kenyan poet and former civil servant Khadambi Asalache decorated the inside of his home almost entirely with decorative pine fretwork, a carefully arranged collection of textiles, and illustrations of African landscapes.
Following his death in 2006, he left 575 Wandsworth Road to the National Trust, which opened the house as a museum.
