Leebotwood 'cut in half' by A49
A petition is calling for a pedestrian crossing on a busy road which residents said divides a village in two. Shops and amenities are on one side of the A49 in Leebotwood, Shropshire, but villagers said there is nowhere safe for them to cross.
At least 300 people have signed the petition, more than the village's population. National Highways said it will carry out a study to see if there is a suitable location for one.
Rob Trigg speaks to people behind the petition.
