Shropshire to launch 'on demand' bus service
Shropshire Council will launch its first ever 'on demand' bus service in December.
Instead of sticking to original routes, buses will operate in zones - and residents can book a bus much like they would a taxi.
Most councils launched them to plug gaps left by commercial operators who stepped away from services with low passenger numbers.
However, concerns have been raised about the long-term viability of 'on demand' services - before the scheme in Shropshire even begins its trial period.
Rob Trigg talks to all involved.
