Beatles film director Oliver Murray: 'It was Sean and Yoko鈥檚 wish that it would happen'
Written and directed by Oliver Murray, 鈥楴ow and Then - The Last Beatles Song鈥� charts how the two remaining Beatles used new technology to transform a John Lennon demo tape into a new track.
It鈥檚 been 45 years in the making with Lennon initially recording it in 1978 and Sir Paul McCartney with the help of Sir Ringo Starr finishing it last year.
Artificial intelligence was able to 鈥榣ift鈥� Lennon's voice from the original tape and remove the background noise.
Speaking to 麻豆社 Radio 5 Live鈥檚 Adrian Chiles, Oliver said: 鈥淭hat sort of brotherly bond between those four remains and this was a chance to use the technology to literally put the band back together".
