Dorset son remembers dad who died in charity ride
A Bournemouth man who lost his dad during a charity cycling challenge has been paying tribute to him - saying he spent his final days doing "something he loved right until the very last minute".
65-year-old Kev Mathie and his son Craig from Bournemouth were part of a team cycling 1,000 miles from Bilbao in Spain to Faro in Portugal when, eight days into the challenge, Kev passed away.
The team has since completed the ride - as a tribute to Kev but also to support the Bournemouth-based charity The Steve Bernard Foundation, which funds community sports projects.
Craig's been telling us the challenge had been tough, even before losing his dad.
