The Royal British Legion has thanked a 10-year-old girl from Shropshire who has been raising money for the charity since she was just four years old.

Ruby started collecting for the poppy appeal by clearing empty glasses in a local pub.

Now, she sells homemade poppy-themed crafts.

"They served for me, and they served for you鈥� she says, 鈥渨e shouldn't just support them once a year, we should support them all the time.鈥�
