As a teenager, shoplifting was a way of life for Farrah McNutt.

But now she is turning the tide against criminals by using her experiences to help businesses protect themselves. Her business 'Catch a Thief' provides advice to business owners and Farrah is now appearing as expert on Channel 5 show 'Shoplifters And Scammers: At War With The Law'.

A Leicestershire Police Spokesperson told us: 鈥渙fficers attend regular retail crime forums, which are a way for business owners to let us know of any issues or concerns they have. We鈥檙e aware of the impact that shoplifting can have on businesses in the city 鈥� particularly our independent traders. We would encourage businesses to continue reporting incidents to us and pass on any footage which could help.鈥�
