Kevin Sinfield: 鈥榊ou wouldn鈥檛 believe the inspiration I鈥檝e taken from Rob鈥�
Rob Burrow and Kevin Sinfield have collaborated on a children鈥檚 book to highlight male friendships.
One of Rugby League鈥檚 greatest players Rob was diagnosed with motor neurone disease in December 2019.
Speaking to 5 Live鈥檚 Naga Munchetty, England rugby union defence coach Kevin Sinfield said: 鈥淲e have, we had a great friendship when we were playing but since then, the connection we鈥檝e had through the tough times, they鈥檙e the bits that really forge you together.鈥�
鈥淚鈥檒l do my best to try and change the future for Rob and for whoever comes afterwards.鈥�
Rob鈥檚 wife Lindsey Burrow added: 鈥淭he key message that we wanted to get from the book was that celebration of friendship, love and camaraderie that Rob and Kevin have been so fortunate to have.鈥�
