Pakefield: Saying goodbye to a much-loved home
Jacky Campling and her family own the much-loved home `Seascape' at Pakefield cliffs, which is set to be demolished.
Two thousand tonnes of rocks were placed on the beach there to try and stop further erosion but it's been deemed that three remaining chalets aren't going to be structurally safe.
We approached East Suffolk Council for comment,
They have previously told the 麻豆社 that Pakefield had been subject to "unprecedented rates of coastal erosion" since 2019.
