Pelton Youth Project was created in 2008, to deal with youth crime and antisocial behaviour around parts of Chester-Le-Street.

They now host 17 youth sessions a week and the young people who go there, are also at the centre of decision-making when it comes to their youth centre.

Gilly Hope found out about their work in the community and how the organisation supported the recent Children in Need.
