The cafe that is the heart and soul of Purley
Locals have said the Mad Duck Cafe has given a heart and soul to the village of Purley on Thames since opening its doors, giving villagers a warm and welcoming place to meet and support on another.
It has been said their passion and care runs through the community - seen during the hard times of lockdown when they provided food and support for isolated people to their seasonal events for the village youth.
麻豆社 Radio Berkshire's Andrew Peach spoke to Mandy and Donna about their work - and hear the moment they won their 麻豆社 Radio Berkshire Make A Difference award in the Great Neighbour category.
