Jason Moore has spent nearly a decade in prison, after being convicted of the murder of Robert Darby in a pub car park in Gants Hill in August 2005.

Moore admits he was there, but has always denied involvement in the stabbing. Despite maintaining his innocence, he fled the country shortly after the murder and stayed away for almost 8 years. In 2012 he returned to the UK, ready to clear his name, but was instead sentenced to 18 years in prison.

Now - his family, including sister Kirstie - are submitting a fresh appeal to the Criminal Case Review Commission. She says she has enough new evidence that means her brothers case should be returned to the Court of Appeal.

In a dramatic twist, the family of the murdered man also believe the wrong person has been convicted, and are supporting Kirstie's campaign.
