Leicester Beauty Salon suffers 2nd car crash
A worker at a Leicester beauty salon in Leicester has told us how she was almost hit by a car which crashed into the front window of the building.
Sylvia was at work at the Vanity Salon on Blackbird Road near its junction with the A50.
Last week a vehicle hit another car and then ploughed into the shop - the second time it's happened this year.
Gemma Kemp is the owner, and Gemma and Sylvia have been sharing their story with reporter Sara Palmer.
Leicester City Council told us: 'Looking at the location of the business and how far it’s set back from the road, we don’t believe the change in layout some distance away could be attributed to a car mounting the pavement at speed and crashing into a building'.
