Roadworks in the High Street have been in place so long, they've been given a tinsel makeover.

Surrey County Council issued this statement...
"We appreciate that disruption to travel is frustrating for residents but these are important works that will facilitate new commercial and residential properties that will benefit the local community. We are working with the developer to get these works completed as soon as possible.
We will do our utmost to minimise disruption as best we can whilst we carry out these works and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.鈥�
