Oldest working signal box in Cornwall will close
it's the end of an era as the oldest working signal box in Cornwall, which was built 144 years ago, prepares to close in the spring.
The signal box at Par, which was built in 1879 is being shut along with signal boxes at Lostwithiel and Truro, as Network Rail installs digital signals.
