A Loughborough family say they're devastated after their home flooded earlier this week without insurance.

They were part way through the process of securing a new policy after buying the house next door and knocking through, but were waiting on an Energy Performance Certificate before finalising a new policy.

Jacob Davidge is now appealing for help to pay for repairs and explains to reporter Conor O'Grady that it was a case of terrible timing.
