Hereford man discovers mother鈥檚 lost WW2 poem
The story of a poem dedicated to the crew of a Lancaster Bomber, who never came home, and rediscovered in Herefordshire!
80 years after they lost their lives, the poem turned up at the family of Jean Gibson, and her son Reg - who lives in Rotherwas.
It was found shortly before Jean's death a couple of years ago, but Reg had the foresight to record Jean reading it out loud. And he managed to track down the relatives of the airmen!
Our reporter Giles Latcham takes up the story.
