Baby milk: 'All the brands need to do the right thing and drop the prices'
Iceland boss Richard Walker has welcomed a drop in the price of Aptamil baby milk, after he raised the issue on 5 Live Breakfast in December.
The company is reducing the cost of three product lines by seven per cent.
Speaking to 5 Live鈥檚 Rick Edwards, he said: 鈥淚 applaud Danone鈥however] we鈥檝e had a price increase from another brand鈥ll the brands need to do the right thing and drop the prices.鈥�
The Competition and Markets Authority is investigating the baby milk market and says formula prices have risen by a quarter over the past two years.
