From the red carpet to the hotel bin – the highs and lows of the Golden Globes including Billie Eilish, Jennifer Lopez and Mark Ronson. Elsewhere, female artists dominated the charts in 2023 but what’s it really like to be a woman in dance music? DJ and presenter Jaguar shares some shocking stats and Annie reflects on her own experiences. Plus, Nick has sent an email to Barack Obama and Elvis is back in the building (sort of)... how do you bring a Rock N Roll star back to life?

Sidetracked is all about taking a look at the things Annie Macmanus and Nick Grimshaw have loved (and perhaps more importantly not loved) from the world of music. A week in music, a week in Annie and Nick’s lives, this is the destination for music and pop culture lovers looking for an authentic and light-hearted take on the week’s most compelling stories… getting seriously sidetracked along the way.
