Post Office scandal: My village shunned me
Jennifer O鈥橠ell used to run the post office in Great Staughton, near St Neots.
In 2010 she was wrongly accused of stealing nearly 拢10,000 and was suspended. The shortfalls in the accounts were later found to be due to faulty Horizon software.
She describes how she lost friends and continues to suffer serious mental health challenges as a result.
Nick Read, Post Office chief executive, said: "Our efforts to rectify the wrongs of the past include paying full and fair compensation supported by our shareholder, the UK Government.
To date, we have paid over 拢120 million-pounds in compensation.
We hope that the ITV drama will raise further awareness and encourage anyone affected who has not yet come forward to seek the redress and compensation they deserve."
