Seven-time Paralympic gold medallist Hannah Cockroft says 鈥淏ritain is a really scary place to be as a disabled person right now鈥�. She says the government is 鈥渇ailing to listen鈥� to the needs of some of the most vulnerable people in society, and that disabled people are being 鈥渁lmost criminalised鈥� in the way they鈥檙e treated. The government says the role of minister of state for disabled people" will help ensure there is always a strong safety net for the most vulnerable in our society, while tearing down barriers so that every disabled person can realise their potential and thrive."
