East Yorks family save drowning St Lucia swimmer
A family from East Yorkshire thought they were escaping the cold winter of the UK and heading to the Carribean to relax on the beach. Little did they know that they would be involved in a rescue out at sea to save a life. Matt Hammond and his wife Sarah, along with her sister Helen rushed into the water at Rodney Bay to pull a drowning woman ashore. The tourists have been hailed as "heroes" by local media in St Lucia and were thanked for their efforts. This is their story.
