Roy Daines from Silver End wasn’t expected to survive childhood, but he has just celebrated his 101st birthday. Born with serious health problems, he was an air gunner during World War Two and was among the first on the scene at Hiroshima in 1945. Here are Roy's memories of a long life well lived.
