Jedd's big thank you to Cadent workers
Engineers remain on the ground in Ratby and Kirby Muxloe this morning, six days since thousands of people woke up to find that they had no gas.
A burst water main last Tuesday morning sent tens of thousands of litres of water into the local gas network which had to be shut down. Most of the two and a half thousand properties affected have had gas restored.
Engineers from Cadent have been working non-stop since last week to try and get this sorted, and that's not gone unnoticed by people in the local community.
Ady Dayman spoke to Jedd Ruane and his mum Victoria.
