Concern over 'invisible' concrete cycle lane blocks
People living near a major road through the south of Leicester say it's becoming a dangerous eye-sore.
Aylestone Road saw temporary cycle lanes installed during the pandemic, to encourage more people to get on a bike, to get around.
Work to make the lanes permanent has seen concrete blocks installed along the road side, which some people say is difficult to see, a danger to car drivers and pedestrians, and an eyesore.
Leicester City Council said similar blocks had been successfully used elsewhere in the city to protect cyclists.
麻豆社 Leicester's Political Reporter Tim Parker's been speaking to local councillor Nigel Porter, and local residents, about the road layout.
