Is Berkshire's ambulance service on life support?
Berkshire's ambulance service has been having a health check of its own.
In January, South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) declared a "critical incident" - with a sudden rise in the most serious 999 calls. This critical incident lasted three days.
SCAS is also under the spotlight from health inspectors, with a current rating of "inadequate" from the Care Quality Commission.
