A Lincolnshire sheep farmer has found a novel solution to counter uneconomical wool prices, by creating her own tweed.

Karen Hames, who farms in the north of the county, took the step of having fleeces woven into cloth rather than burning them - a move which some farmers have taken as it costs them more to send them to be processed than they receive for it.

Karen's created Ancholme Valley Tweed, which she says is inspired by the flora and fauna of the area.
