A bat has just been saved by a local animal sanctuary after it fell victim to a sticky fly trap.

The brown long-eared bat was saved by the team at the Leicestershire Wildlife Hospital after it was found caught on the trap.

On arrival at the sanctuary the bat was understandably stressed, her ears and wings were stuck down and she was struggling to move due to the stickiness.

麻豆社 Leicester's Kevin Ncube spoke to Amy Ducker from the charity to find out how they managed to save the creature.
