What we learnt from report into Sarah Everard's killer
An inquiry into the killing of Sarah Everard in Clapham nearly 3 years ago, has been published.
The author of the report, lawyer Dame Eilish Angiolini, says the murder, a then serving officer called Wayne Couzens, should never have been allowed into the police force, and she's called for a radical overhaul of police vetting and recruitment.
Dame Angiolini also says opportunities to stop Wayne Couzens offending were repeatedly ignored and missed.
麻豆社 Radio London's Ross Ryan has an overview of what we learnt from this first part of the inquiry.
