Since the war in Ukraine began in February 2021, a humanitarian aid charity based in the Essex village of Ingatestone have sent the country more than 50 trucks of supplies. Charles Storer MBE is from Hope and Aid Direct, and says their latest convey includes two thousand mattresses.
