Upton pub's flooded Easter 'nightmare'

Hear how a local landlord was flooded over the long weekend in what he describes as 'comedy of errors' from the authorities. The Swan Hotel was flooded on Friday with an inch of water in the bar and lounge.

Owner Luke Sturman told our reporter Charlotte Broadbent how it is the worst possible time for the incident to occur.

In a statement, Severn Trent told the 麻豆社 that the data they received from the Environment Agency stated the river level would not rise high enough to cause problems, but unfortunately it rose higher than expected. They add they will continue to assist the owners of The Swan until things return to normal.
