Having a Mayor: Promises, priorities & a two-horse race?
Following the thrills, spills, faffs and gaffes of the 2024 race for Mayor of London.
'Having a Mayor' follows the thrills, spills, faffs and gaffes of the 2024 race for Mayor of London. 麻豆社 London's Political Correspondent Karl Mercer, alongside Political Editor Tim Donovan, and Political Reporter Susana Mendon莽a - will dissect and discuss the latest issues, debates, candidates, campaigns and more.
This week, as campaigning energy ebbs post-Easter-chocolate, we ponder the differing campaign styles of the front running candidates. Labour's Sadiq Khan was joined by Shadow Chancellor Rachel Reeves - but the question is, will he get the money he wants, if he and Labour win? And, with some polls showing shortening odds for the Conservatives, is Susan Hall's approach to campaigning paying off?
Plus - we'll look at priorities when it comes to voting for the next Mayor of London. Karl's gets the verdict from some of London's students.
And we'll find out which of our trio is the hardest working according to their weekly step counts!
We'd like to hear your questions about the Mayoral election, your thoughts, observations and...don't be shy, your rants. Whatsapp the team on 08000 321 333 starting the message with 'London'. Or email hellobbclondon@bbc.co.uk
