Explained: What do local councils do?

You may have heard there are local elections around the corner. It is to elect local councillors and police and crime commissioners in your local area. You will be able to cast your vote on Thursday 2nd May 2024. But what do local council's actually do? What are they responsible for? 麻豆社 News' political reporter Bethan Nimmo can explain.
