Seven-time Paralympic gold medallist Hannah Cockroft explains how her disability didnāt stop her from achieving success.
Speaking to 5 Liveās Adrian Chiles, she said: āWhen you are born with a disability, you are told more often what you canāt do rather than what you can.ā
āWheelchair racing was my way of proving I can do sport; I can do anything that I want to do.ā
She went on to say that she ānever set out to be a Paralympic championā.
āItās interesting how hard I can push my body, this girl that was told she would never really do much with her life. I just keep pushing the boundary to see what the finish line actually isā, she added.
