UAE floods 'not caused by cloud seeding'
After unprecedented rainfall in the UAE, the National Center of Meteorology denied suggestions cloud seeding had made things worse. It said it did not dispatch pilots for seeding operations before or during a storm. Meteorologist Prof Maarten Ambaum, of the University of Reading in the UK, explains how seeding works and why the floods had other causes.
