What鈥檚 going on at Ross-on-Wye鈥檚 Market House?
We find out why the historic structure has been boarded up with scaffolding, and why local people say they can't wait to see the improvements!
Our reporter Tom Edwards is in the Herefordshire market town, checking out the 拢150,000 project aiming to bring more tourists in to Ross.
The 16th century building's stonework has been suffering from 'significant' erosion over the decades, and is being repaired alongside its ancient windows. Ross-on-Wye Town Council said there was a serious risk of glass falling out and windows being boarded up if nothing was done!
The work is expected to be complete by September - as well as the fabric of the building being restored, there'll be interpretation boards about the history of the building, to encourage people to spend more time in the area.
