Essex and the infected blood scandal
Adam Fleming from Rochford was infected with hepatitis C as a child through treatment for severe haemophilia. Adam is now clear of the virus, but its thought about three thousand people died because of what happened in the 1970s and 1980s.
A public inquiry into what has been called the biggest treatment disaster in NHS history will announce its findings in May. Victims are also campaigning for compensation.
