Inside the Tiptree jam factory
The Wilkin family started farming in Tiptree during the early 1700s, later founding the Britannia Fruit Preserving Company in 1885. Today, the farm covers 850 acres and their products are exported worldwide.
Ben Fryer has been taking a behind-the-scenes look at the jam-making process with Mark Smith, Head of Operations at Wilkin & Sons Ltd.
