Ali Shah’s house caught fire during a thunderstorm in Watford. He and his family would have stayed in bed at their home in Cassiobury Drive if the woman hadn’t banged loudly on their door. Bedfordshire Fire and Rescue took 45 minutes to put out the blaze. Photo: Lightning from the storm as it passed over near-by Croxley Green; credit, Weather Watchers/Mofeelu.
