Essex has given the world many well-known celebrities including Helen Mirren, Denise Van Outen and Stacey Soloman. But did you know that Rufus Hound is also originally from the county?

The actor and comedian has starred in a number of theatre productions such as Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and Wind in the Willows. He's also the voice of Waffle the Wonder Dog on CBeebies.

Rufus explains why his mum chose to move the family away from Essex.
