Benfleet man recalls turbulence terror
A man from Benfleet says he is thankful he has not been paralysed after breaking his neck when the aircraft he was on hit severe turbulence at 37,000 feet.
Brad Richards was one of dozens of people badly injured when a Boeing 777 flown by Singapore Airlines was jolted up and down over the Indian ocean in May. One passenger died.
Mr Richards, who was on his way from Britain to Bali for a holiday, is currently in a Bangkok hospital facing a lengthy recovery.
He told Sonia Watson what he recalled.
