Oxford gene research aims to prevent young cardiac deaths
As Euro 2024 gets underway, 12 murals have been unveiled across the UK to remember young football fans who died suddenly with cardiac problems.
It's part of a British Heart Foundation campaign, to highlight the issue in young people.
Meanwhile research taking place in Oxford is aiming to prevent young cardiac deaths altogether by ‘fixing’ faulty genes.
The Âé¶¹Éç's Jayne McCubbin has been to meet the families, and the scientists involved in looking for treatment.
