'The Incidents' by Wyl Menmuir is from an anthology of fiction called "Twelve Stories for Twelve Sections" which celebrates the 12 Areas of Outstanding National Beauty (AONB) in Cornwall. Twelve Cornwall based writers were asked to take a single section of the protected landscape as a setting for their story.

This story is set in Section 10, South Coast Eastern.
