Didcot residents have been complaining about a 'disgusting' odour around the town originating from a nearby landfill.

The Environment Agency says the smell is caused by leachate, which is formed when liquid passes through a landfill and mixes with degraded waste.

Recycling and waste management company FCC Environment, which owns the facility in Sutton Courtenay, says its monitoring the situation following multiple complaints.

People living in Didcot and the surrounding villages have been describing the smell to 麻豆社 Radio Oxford.
