A stretch of the A12 near Brentwood has been named the most 'disgusting and littered road' in the UK. Ed Lennox from Clean Up Britain says there鈥檚 no excuse for the amount of roadside litter.

Brentwood Borough Council says 鈥淲e are currently in the process of arranging litter-picking for the section of the A12 seen on social media. While we have not yet finalised a start date for this clean-up, we are working closely with our appointed contractor to arrange the necessary traffic management with National Highways.鈥�
