Jenny Ryan, best known as The Vixen in ITV’s game show The Chase, joined Woman’s Hour’s Nuala McGovern to discuss why she thinks we all love a quiz.

Jenny told Nuala she thinks it’s because of a need to be right, to be given a pat on the head because it makes us feel good. Jenny also revealed where her nickname, The Vixen, came from – one of her ‘showbiz secrets’.

Breaking away from teatime telly for her own evening of song, storytelling and ‘showbiz secrets’, Jenny is taking her cabaret show, Jenny Ryan: Out Of The Box, on tour across the UK.
